Meet Lucy, She's back with us again!

Lucy is back with us again for a day and half. We met her the first time in September when she stayed for 9 days. Lucy's a 'Mutt' but definitely a 'Lady Mutt'.

It's dogs like Lucy who remind me of WHY I love what I do ~ having genial and affectionate dogs around that enhance the environment they're in and are so easy to love on in return :)

Lucy is gentle, affectionate, sensitive, obedient, submissive and a joy to have with us.

Here are some photos of her while with us in September

Enjoying birdlife on the pond

Relaxin' on her bed and towel

I would definitely label her 'The Queen of Enjoying Attention'

If there was a contest for 'Best Grins', I'd vote for Lucy :)

Happy spending time together: Lucy (L), Bailey (M), Stella (R)

Enjoying some personal attention

Before dusk this evening, we took Lucy & Bailey for a walk/jog at Simmers Young Park and particularly in the vicinity of the almost-ready-to-open NEW DOG PARK in Winter Haven.
This is only 2.5 miles from our home so we're thrilled about it!

After their vigorous workout, Lucy & Bailey slurp cold water from our frisbee
(improvisation)...but they think it tastes better in the frisbee :)

Later in the evening, the dogs are conked out, even snoring.
And it isn't surprising to see Bailey usurping Lucy's bed..........

......while Lucy is conked out at my husband's feet :)

It's been another PAWZITIVE day at Pawzitive FX!

Our Saturday with Lucy

We had Lucy the doberman puppy over for the day for daycare. Unfortunately for Lucy, she had been attacked by a neighborhood dog this week and incurred a neck and ear injury so she is wrapped up and has an Elizabethan collar on, which of course, inhibits a lot of interaction she would normally do. I could still throw a ball for her and play with her, however Bailey was pretty nervous around her so their interaction was limited.

Bailey was excited to have Lucy to play with but at the same time was a bit intimidated by the cone

Bailey is thinking about it...

The sweet little Girl..........

Her ear has to stay bandaged

She enjoyed time in the yard

I spent some time in the lanai supervising Lucy & Bailey

We wish Lucy a speedy recovery and to return to play in full personality and energy!
