We All Share!

Yesterday for our Facebook timeline photo, I posted this photo of my Bailey:

and stated how he is such a bed-hog when other dogs come for sleepovers. He is very quick to settle into another dogs bed or kennel, as he did here on November 22 in Lyra's bed & kennel.

Here's 2 more photos of his settlin'-in:

Quite relaxed, wouldn't you say?

...and not one bit of guilt over it either....

I don't want to give the impression that Bailey just takes over when other dogs are present. While he is bed & toy possessive, he's also very non-chalant about other dogs in his sleeping spaces or playing with his toys.

Today, case-in-point: Both Lyra & Stella, 2 of our regular daytime attendees, felt very much at home in Bailey's kennel which is situated in our dining room area. It always has the door open so any K9 can use it.

Perhaps it is the very cushy comforter which is what makes it so inviting: :)

The Girls had spent most of morning outside so now we kickin' back

Then just a few moments ago, Stella was doing the ZZZZZ's and Lyra just crawled in too!
Funny Girls!

And, as previously stated, Bailey freely shares his toys, like this 16 squeaker serpent that Lyra really enjoys! :)

Dogs Play With Their Food! - (dog treat dispensers)

Over Thanksgiving, we boarded Lyra & Juno and so to make things a bit fun (for them and me!), I put their kibble in Bailey's treat dispenser ball and let them have a go at it, one-at-a-time.  They both had a great time, got exercise and brain stimulation. Juno got to have 2 turns with it and Lyra 3 (based on size of their portion).

Missing Videos for Posting, "There's No Shortage of Love..."

For some odd reason, the videos to accompany the November 12 posting: There's No Shortage of Love @ Pawzitive FX, would not materialize on the post, sooooooooooooo, I'm providing the links here so you can watch them on You Tube. This is especially for the Pet Parents in the videos. :) Enjoy!

There's no shortage of love @ Pawzitive FX!

Initially when I first met Stella, the Australian Labradoodle Puppy, she was very afraid of men.
Both Lyra & Juno as well, we not too keen on seeing men or having them in their space.

My husband Bob sometimes telecommutes from his home office as well as takes time off, so he can sometimes be at home during the week when the dogs are here.

That fact has been great training for all the Female Canines, as they now are very friendly with Bob and adore his attention, as the videos will show :)

Lyra: "I lub lub lub this!"

"Aw, Mr. Bob, I like you too"

"Pssst, Mr. Bob, I'm not afraid of you anymore. Can we do this again soon?"

"I'm so happy just to hang out with you, Mr. Bob"

There's enough for everyone!

"Mr. Bob, what are these? Can I lick them?"

Juno enjoys her time on Lori's lap!

The Girls were giving me their input on my facebook page. Good suggestions.

Stella and Bailey, November 12, 2012

We began our day, as always, with a great energetic walk/jog.

This may appear like beach sand but it's the soil that has been cleared to build a new dog park near the Auburndale Softball Complex, adjacent to Simmers Young Park
(unsure of completion date but sure am excited about it)

Bailey & Stella trot along together very companionably

They were both onto a scent; unsure if it was an armadillo or what....

Here's pretty Stella with her wind-blown fur after the walk

Bailey slurps up the water he needs after his vigorous walk/jog

Stella was initially a bit unsure about the mutt mug, but when she saw the ice cubes, she didn't hesitate

Stella pretty pup & Bailey handsome fellow

Boarding Stella 11-10-12 to 11-15-12

Stella the Australian Labradoodle puppy is dear to us as she began spending half days with us since March when she was itsy bitsy in size.

Stella is now higher and longer than Bailey!

She's staying with us for 5 days so I'll be posting her activities for her favorite fan, her MOM, to see! :)

Sunday, Nov. 11: I said, "on your mark, get set" and they're ready to GO!
(for morning walk)

Hour long morning walk at Simmers-Young Park in Winter Haven, only 2.4 miles from our home.
It's my and Bailey's fav place to walk/jog and explore.

If you're interested in seeing more photos of Simmers-Young Park, visit my blog,

Bailey & Stella have spent most of the afternoon out in the yard and are now inside (3:35 pm) laying back.
Stella's having a good chomp on her chewy.

Our first November Days @ Pawzitive FX Playdate

What's new with our Canine's @ Pawzitive FX?

Juno has a flirty new collar!

and her Sister, Lyra, also has a flirty new collar!

Stella has a new furcut!

and she was showing off when I brought her over from the Groomers!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And THEN, there's Mr. Bailey Beagle...........
...who seemed hypnotized by his Mama's tunafish pocket! (Stella was watching him carefully.....)
For leverage, Mr. Bailey takes his eyes off the pocket and stares his Momma in the eye!
Strategy: MELT HER HEART
Bailey's patience is wearing thin. His eyes are saying, 'Momma, oh pleeeeeeeeaaaaaase share your pocket with me!
He needed some distraction so he tore into the grocery bag, looking for a dog treat
(yes, there was one in there for him)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lyra wasn't with us on Monday as she was at the Vets getting her skin infection cared for
(we missed her)

Lyra likes Bailey's squeaky serpent
(we think she chose it because it matched her wrap :) )

After playtime, it is NAP TIME
and since the temps are so wonderful this time of year, the dogs napped/relaxed outdoors

Lyra & Bailey shared space

Stella chose to nap in the shade

Mr. Bob has been taking some time off work as well as working from home, so Lyra & Juno like to have him around as he plays with them and this morning, also fed them some of his raw broccoli!
Juno was so thrilled that she danced for him!

We have no favorites at Pawzitive FX, however some Canines work their magic and well, it seems to work for them. For example, when Mr. Bob feels Juno's paws on his leg or when she whimpers or when she suddenly jumps up on his lap, he then gives her joys unspeakable!
He rubs her, massages her, pets her.

...and SHE KNOWS she has him wrapped around her long, curly tail!

H.E.A.V.E.N.!!!!!

Pet Parents, be assured that your K9's are supremely loved and cherished at Pawzitive FX!
